Don't get me wrong, the last couple of weeks have been too tense for comfort

But in my opinion staying up like this is a great way to end the season. Okay, West Brom must have been safe months ago and will finish above us, but to end the season on three straight defeats (four if they lose to United next week) doesn't really give you much confidence going into the close season and must be pretty dull for the fans. The same with Fulham who are now on a five match losing streak. By comparison, we rallied when we needed it most which is is a great feeling (and has gone some way to putting the demons of Fulham to bed). And, lest we forget, the target this season was staying up. So well done the team, well done McNasty, and most importantly, well done Hoots. I salute you.
