as it happens, there was no result, but the settled bet would be your stake, which would then multiply onto the triple

The question isn't stupid because, imagine if you picked 7 teams and covered all possibilities (6 folds, 5 folds, 4 folds . . . )

Just the stake and no payout becomes a massive aspect of those bets, and yours
