roof rack but...

1) Don't drive under low barriers before checking the height. Stupid i know but i know someone who did!
2) Get roof bars designed specifically for the make of car rather than multi-fit ones from Halfords. Again i know someone where the lot came off in a high wind on the A1!

Disadvantages of having them on the back are
1) loads of crap thrown up from the road
2) security - much easier to nick
3) police - many will nick drivers where the lights and plate are obscured
4) other drivers - just need someone to misjudge and drive into the bikes from behind and ?100's of damage - again I know situations where it has happened.
