which iPhone do you have

if it's a iPhone 4 4s or 5 you will probably need to get her a new sim card as they use a micro sim. and hers may be a normal size sim card. but apart from that should just be a case of putting her sim in your phone and off you go if not locked if not you will have to take it to someone that does phone unlocking
