France bans public meetings

Apparently incitations to riot have been found in emails and text messages and so the government has decided to ban public meetings to kerb violence. Does this mean that they've been reading everyones private messages?

A day after armistice day and France are playing Germany in one of the riot-hit areas. If Germany win, i hope that messrs Bush and Blair will come and rescue me!!!
