as opposed to the world class players he's been leaving on the bench?

If Ruddy and Whittaker are fit I'd play them. I'd also play either:

2 up front (with Becchio or Jackson) and possibly Benno in for Pilks; or
1 up front (with Benno in place of Wes)

Hand on my heart though I don't think either of those changes would obviously make us potentially much better than the current team. We have a batch of meh attacking players so whatever combination we put out its going to look a bit meh...
