A Wigan win tonight would be a nightmare, however

It would probably have a queer old effect on some other teams as well.

Southampton would suddenly need to get something at Sunderland who themselves would be a bag of nerves.

Newcastle would go to QPR with jelly legs.

Villa crapping it and then needing something at Wigan themselves.

All options tonight throw up scanerios which aren't necessarily all bad for us.
