I don't know why some are so convinced it would be the same next year.

He's signed Wolf, Wolf let slip he's also intending to improve attacking options.
At neither Newcastle or Birmingham he set up defensively. Presumably he felt he had to here in the first season to survive.

I expect a less cautious approach next season.
