1. If your back-up goalkeeper isn't EPL quality, buy a new one

2. Do NOT get negative and start playing for draws.

3. If necessary, pull out all the stops and buy a quality striker - who can play immediately, not next season!!!

4. Just because a manager is nice, and a gentleman, it doesn't mean he's any good.

5. And above all, don't lull yourself into thinking you're safe by looking at the teams below you. Focus on yourselves, and play to win games: not to stop relegation rivals (who shouldn't be relegation rivals in the first place) beating you.
