And it's not just Gunn/Ruddy either. In both seasons, Norwich beat the Champions and two other top 6 sides: the latter, against all logic. In 94/5, that against all logic win was our penultimate win all season long; and it'll probably be the same this season too.

In both seasons, the bottom 2 were always adrift all season long - and Villa got out of it late on. And in both seasons, we could not score goals, and failed to strengthen in January. That's the real reason we're in this mess: we haven't learned a bloody thing. :(
