Warnock wanted 1R; we didn't want the money so asked about an exchange and they wanted his wages off the books and he wanted PL football. On paper looked a good deal but, with so much this season, it just didn't work out. I still reckon Vaighan would have looked more the part than Becchio has but 20/20 hindsight gets you nowhere.
