As negative and down as I am about our plight at present

Having looked at the table and the fixtures it does still appear to be the case that if we beat WBA next week we will probably stay up. I guess we have to be extremely grateful for that.

It actually looks like its building to a situation where there could be 5 or 6 teams on 38-41 points going into the last game. The likes of Stoke, Southampton and Fulham are back in it. Win next week and we will surely be above enough of them to be ok, particularly given the Wigan v Villa and Southampton v Stoke fixtures.

We simply HAVE to beat WBA though and even if we do stay up I think Hughton's position needs to be looked at in the summer.
