but he didn't. He identified a problem after the Fulham thrashing, made the team difficult to beat, got some bloody good results and saw us go on a very strong run.
But by his achievement, he's pretty much lost the right to blame a poor squad as it's clearly capable of performing well.
The question for me is why the wheels came off so badly, and whilst I don't know the reason for sure I think the buck largely stops with him for adopting such negative and regressive tactics.
