most definately not....

though I love most of their stuff and seen them 5 times in concert.

music is an emotional subject and whilst the music might not be "technically" correct, it played a large part in my youth growing up and the angst of teenage years etc...so brings back emotional and special memories everytime I listen to floyd.

plus - any band that can still be successfull and aclaimed after 30 years has to be marked down as classic. Cant see some of the ten-a-penny bands around today still being talked about on message boards in 30 years time....
