Our midfield

Has been THE problem all season. At first I thought it was the defence but it has become apparent over recent weeks that you could play Chelsea's back four and still concede goals with our midfield.

Getting a central midfielder is an absolute necessity. Compare our midfield to Wolves last weekend? We are lightweight in talent and heart.

I believe that if we get the midfield right, defenders like Shackell will once again look like the defenders we thought they were.
