he did really well in his short time in the prem and struggling clubs like everton, portsmouth etc will all be willing to gamble on a new striker in Jan. They'd still regard him as a good prospect.

Deano is VERY unlikely to reach the prem playing for us over the next few years and would have england ambitions he cant fulfil if he stays with us.

Would you rather stay and fade away to nothing, or jump and try to ressurect your career??!! I know what I'd do in his shoes, and good luck to him - he did us a favour by signing his extention to the contract to try to get us more dosh back anyway!
