A few thoughts from Saturday

1) I am pretty optimistic in general when it comes to all things NCFC but as soon as I saw the team on Saturday, I knew we were going to lose - a pretty depressing thingt to have to admit to yourself just before kick off - our midfield wihout Safri is weak.

2) Controversial it seems but I did not think that JJ was THAT bad - at the end he did lose it and he certainly did not set the world on fire at all but I don't think he was as bad as folk are suggesting - certainly I dodn't think he is one of the worst players to play for NCFC etc

3) Huckerby is a shadow of his former self. Why? Confidence? Surely not ? Trying to get Worthy sacked by playing badly? Who knows but something is not right - whatever it is Worthy has to sort it out ASAP. There were several times in the second half when he had acres of space but the ball was not played to him which seemed a bit bizarre - when we got promoted at times that seemed like our only tactic

4) First half tactics seemed to be pump it high to Ashton - easy ball for the defender to deal with - Ashton had no chance - why did it take to the second half before we sort of strating playing it to feet

5) Rossi Jarvis looked really good - the one bright spot in a rather depressing afternoon
