Subs bench one week, playing as left back the next, then out of the matchday squad for a few weeks, occasional comments from Manager along the lines of "...you have to say he's not ready for games yet, but we're keeping an eye on him..." etc etc.

Class act. Put our "experienced, we've been there, done it" pros to shame with his effort, commitment AND skill.
