Worthie`s post match comments condemn himself.

During the season we have had comments such as " cant fault the effort and commitment ". We lose. Now we have that the players are spineless. We lose.
Lets make no bones about it. This is Worthie`s team and Worthie`s players. Only Green ,Fleming and McVeigh are left in the first team squad from pre Worthie days. His players and his team are not performing. Green, Huckerby , Ashton Drury Saffri and Mckenzie in my opinion have the quality necessary to get us promotion . The first four are vastly under achieving. Mckenzie is injured but was under performing before his injury. Only Saffri when he is not injured or on international duty is deserving of his weekly pay packet.

The jury is out on Docherty in terms of ability. Louis Jean, Colin, Jarrett, Hughes, Brennan and Henderson are clearly not up to it in terms of ability. Charlton is probably OK as left full back cover.

Marney and Davenport are loanees . Marney has disappointed. Davenport has done well but who is to replace him when he goes? In terms of ability Shackell, when he is fit, but he is another player who has under performed this season.

The conclusion is that Worthie`s players that he has brought in either do not have the ability ( or in some cases commitment eg Brennan) or have the ability but are not playing for him. These factors are 100% down to the manager.

Lets make no bones about it. The stone began rolling down the hill at the beginning of last season and has been gathering pace since the start of this season. A playing record in all competitions of 12 victories in 63 games speaks for itself. This is not a temporary blip in performance but a bloody great stone getting heavier after each match.

The patient which is NCFC football team is ill and the symptoms are getting worse. Worthie is the doctor in control of the treatment . His treatment is increasing the illness of the the patient and the Hospital managers are presiding over its decline. The patient may still not recover even if the doctor is taken off the case but that is no reason to keep him in place. . A new injection of blood at the top ( to continue the medical analogy) may revive the patient. THE BOARD MUST ACT NOW.
