Smith/Worthington/Hu ckerby: The axis of evil

This is where it's all gone tits up. Fair do's the cook put her money where her mouth is and the headless chicken breezed into CR following the loan spell and everything in the garden was a thing of wondrous beauty.

City went up as champions and we looked forward to having a laugh in the Prem. Now, forgive me if I'm wrong here but Huckerby has never really set the world on fire, has he? True he has skill and talent but (and apologies for crossing the line of controversy) one of the main reasons for employing a manager is to bring the best out of players is it not? Huckerby is the tail wagging the dog at this club and it's a stubby little tail at the best of times. What Huckerby needs is not a good kick up the arse every now and then (by dropping him) or he doesn't need to have his ego pampered to, what he needs is to be f**king arrogant on the pitch, a la Cantona, and he needs the manager to instill this in him. He should be the daddy out there not fannying around trying to win free kicks and pens or running into dead ends etc. That's not football mate that's just SPINELESS cheating. Huckerby needs to change his game, Worthy needs to do it for him because you are too predictable and when mediocre championship journeymen defenders are taking the piss then you know what yer doing is s**te. The rest of the team know it as well but hey, your a *name* and have played at "Big clubs" so we must all fawn at your feet eh?
