I think we tried to get Carl Robinson in on loan

But Sunderland won't let him go at the moment. I do believe we are trying to get someone in on loan for midfield, it's just no-one is available (or so we're told).

As for Liam Miller, although I don't rate him at all (I've seen him play in a very impressive Man Utd team and he looked so s**t it was untrue), he's probably better than todays pairing in CM for us. Sad but true.

One would hope of course that a new manager got in a decent couple of midfielders though!
