Dead wood emerging in our squad

Where has all of this dead wood suddenly come from? At the start of the season I believed we had some real quality in our squad. But as this season has progressed we've looked worse and worse. The dead wood is appearing everywhere. We've only got about 6 players worth keeping now, and two of them (Ashton and Safri) will be targets for every club in the Prem in January.

It's going to be a long long season. And a long long road back to the Premiership.
