I'll take a stab at that. Public message is irrelevant, I think, so long as all internal procedures are followed correctly. And it would be wrongful dismissal, not unfair, if they weren't.
And the employer would be Norwich City Football Club, directors/chief exec are just officers of the company.
But this is relying on hazy undergrad knowledge, so not to be taken as gospel!
