Give the Board some credit, please.
It would be ridiculous, divisive and counter-productive for the board to suggest that NW has anything other than their unequivocal support.
To suggest otherwise would heap intolerable pressure on him and subject him to the kind of scrutiny that could only be a distraction.
But behind close doors, he WILL be told that results need to improve and he WILL be told that the situation needs to be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
I doubt there will be any ultimatums as such, but the Board will make it abundantly clear to NW that results do matter and that he cannot presume to remain in charge regardless of performance.
