that's not because he's dishonest

its because he's too dim or arrogant to realise he's actually DONE anything wrong. That's why he doesn't try to correct his mistakes either. And I'm sure he's hardworking. As for "proven track record", everyone who has been a manager has one of those - even if its a s**te record its still proven.
