tell you what I don't like about this new phone - it's not for the paranoid

Feeling a bit left out on the app front, I've searched for things other people have shown me that impressed me. I got many of these from the google-store-thingy that's on the phone but couldn't find a magnifier before I grew bored of scrolling through countless games and other s**te.

So I found one through the browser, and downloaded it. When I went to install it, the phione asked me if I'm happy to give the program full access to the internet plus a couple of other queries to which I'd normally answer No, and it gave me no option to refuse any individual thing: it's either accept everything or go without. So I've gone without - because I'm paranoid - but now I'm wondering about all the progs I got from the playstore-thingy. Does downloading an app grant tacit permission to the world to snoop on me? Yes, I'm aware that Google does that on my PC too.

I may just uninstall everything and just use it as a text-sending device, like the old cheap one. Modern tech: I'm just not made for it.
