Sports and noise

I was wondering about this the other day at the Paralympics. Why in some sports must the crowd be quiet, but not in others?

Golf, tennis, snooker, sitting volleyball - must be quiet

Table tennis, darts, football - make as much noise as you want

You need to focus in all of those sports so not sure that's a reason
