I feel no envy looking at QPR, west ham or Southampton's spending - I'd feel deeply uncomfortable if we were pissing money against the wall in that way - football ceased to be a sport in which you could challenge for honours at without an uber wealthy backer ages ago. I've loved how we've constructed our rise the last few years and would hate to see us buy .*wholly* into the unaffordable cash driven merry go round.
