The "problem" last season, inasumch as there was one...

...was that we let in too many, not that we couldn't create or score at premiership level. We were lucky on several occasions and while I agree we make our own luck I also think we'd be silly to rely on last season when planning for this. But at the end of the day if we end up with a (much) improved back four and CDM, which we seem to have, plus an additional attacking option in Snod, then I can't see that as bad.

Of course like everyone else I'm chimped to the max waiting to hear the news of the Big Striker Signing. But if it doesn't happen then it doesn't happen. We've a tough couple of months coming up but it eases off a bit after that and we need to give Hoots the headroom to work - at other clubs he's taken a few games to make it hang together and I've no doubt that will happen here too
