You blame Roy for being unimaginative picking players just because they play for big clubs, but then say Richards and A Johnson should've been picked. So that is that argument out the window out of the window for those two players.

This leaves your main gripe being Holt and the swansea midfielder not being picked. Can't say that picking them would make him the most imaginative coach alive and change anyone's perceptions. Are those two really going to make England an exciting team? A one season prem wonder and a good passer?

Roy has had such a small choice of players to pick, I think it's hard to criticise really. How many years have I read people criticising the manager picking the same old players, yet when Kelly etc get picked it's a disgrace as Rio should be in. Can't win.
