Re comments about Ukraine below......

I speak from personal experience....
Donetsk - England have 2 group games here, absolute s**t hole, centre of a coal, steel and chemical producing area, terrible air pollution, bit like Teeside on steroids! Majority ethnic Russian population and mostly Russian speakers.
Kiev - 1 England group game, nice city centre, very cultural, but not many old buildings since WW2 when the Germans and Russians flattened it. Away from the centre, its wall to wall with huge Soviet era apartment blocks.
Kharkov - this is where there will be trouble with the neo Nazi fans if there is any.
Poland is a totally different ball game - any Nazi type stuff there is liable to get you a good kicking!
