And for the foreseeable future, until events change enough to move on. That took a long while after Walker, which was the last similar event. It took us getting relegated and not being good for at least another 5 years. During which we had the likes of Shaun Carey in midfield, Megson learning on the job, the fiasco that was Hamilton, Rioch not having any financial support... I don't want to go on. The only thing I can realistically see as a positive at the moment is that we are better run now than then (or seem to be), which in turn might make us a more attractive prospect for incoming players and managers.
But hey, let's be thankful for the last three seasons!
