That's what prevented Jordan Rhodes from touching the ball in the first half-hour of the recent playoff final. He tried dropping back to pick it up, occasionally, but when it did find its way to him he lacked the touch or skill to do anything with it. The ball ran alongside him like a wayward puppy, and once or twice he tripped over the puppy's lead.
Look it was the first time I've ever seen him play a full game and he looked absolutely bobbins. A lower league no 9 who can bang it straight if nobody's in the way, by the looks of him.
If we f**k Judas off, I reckon we'd be far better spaffing the money on Rodallega (sic) than J-Rhod. A new manager would help.
