Time for a conspiracy theory

I cant help thinking that there are dark forces at work here. Why would PL want to make his unsuccessful attempt at a resignation public? Shirley this has weakened his negotiating position with AV or if not, had the potential to do so. PL has never been a media starlet and so I assume that the club leaked this to the press, but why would they do so? Shirley if they truly wanted to keep PL it would be best to keep this in-house.

With Holt it is feasible that a clumsy toys out of pram moment went wrong but again the club seem to be happy to let him make a complete arse of himself, perhaps to cash in on a resale that, but for Holts antics, would have been unthinkable. Remember if he goes for as little as ?3 million that will still be a handsome return on the initial investment in him.

This is one for Miss Marple or Quincy or one of them fellas. Perhaps Scooby-do would reveal McNally as the evil funfare owner.....
