I genuinely dont think he would issue an absolute denial if we were going to.

He said we will not be approaaching celtic. Not just that we hadnt already.

If we were thinking about it I'd expect a comment like "we categorically have not approached celtic about Neil Lennon. The board are drawing up a shortlist of candidates to approach and in the meantime will not be commenting further on speculation. You will be informed off progress over the next few days.

A categorical denial would make him a liar unnecessarily.
