I think it's the way it has been handled by all concerned

If PL went for the Villa job on the QT with the consent of NCFC and the Holt issue had been dealt with behind closed doors, there would be less bitterness out there.

All this roomer, briefing of the press, twitterations etc has left a bad smell in the mouth.
