They won't unless Lernar changes Villa's transfer policy

They've essentially been a selling club for the past four years, selling their best players to the Manchester clubs without bringing in even remotely adequate replacements. Compare their squads from 08-09 and 11-12, a massive difference in depth and quality.

What makes anybody think that Lernar will start splurging the dough now if he hasn't fot the past four years? I doubr he has that much faith in Lambert over O'Neill and even Houllier.
