I watched Prometheus last night

perhaps my expectations were too high, but I didn't think it was much cop. There's just too much silliness and very little atmosphere-building at all.
I'd also heard s**tloads of guff about the effects. Yeah, they were ok, nowt to write home about though frankly.
Give me Alien any day over that
