That comment from Bowkett (?) about being happy with 17th next season. Followed by Lambert saying his ambitions were higher. No s**t, Sherlock, I know, but we've been here before so many times with previous successful managers: good period of development followed by difference of opinion between the board and the manager, culminating in the manager not being allowed to buy / spend what he wants, followed by manager leaving. What happens not long after is not usually pretty.

Sorry if that's a bit bleak, but that's how it seems right now.
