.....lets assume for a moment that reports and rumors are true (and they might not be) and Lambert is off to Villa.
We all knew he was going to leave one day and all I can say is best wishes to him and thank you for the last 3 years. I still dont get Villa as a possible move but if he feels its a step up or a better chance to step up in the future then fine.
A new manager could be good timing - better now than in August and a new manager could help with "2nd season syndrome" yes its a risk but maybe some new and fresh ideas could be perfect timing.
Dont get me wrong I'd rather him stay for at least one more season which I think that could benift both Lambert and us but heyho what do I know.
Still hoping its all rumor but trying to look on the brightside if its true.
I cant help but feel as a club we are going to have to get used to managers come and go - we arent likely to be a top 6 club anytime soon, so you either try and get good managers who are on the way up therefore use us as a steping stone or we find a manager like Tony Pulis who only really knows one style of football which is why he is never linked with another job in the premership.
well thats my thought anyway - right, I need some coffee
