Managers rarely take more than one or two old players with them

(apart from Warnock) and in any event I would think he will be in the market for a different level of players. He may fancy Howson or Pilks but we would have to accept a bid and i also dont see Howson wanting to move again just 6 months after moving down from Leeds.

IF he was allowed to go to villa I am sure Mcnasty would sort something in the deal that stopped him nicking our players for a while.
