This only just occurred to me (after the Drurimonial) ...

Lambo would have been a great manager for Huckerby. For all PL's own background (in his own mind he was an average player who made the best of himself by hard work) he's been able to get the best out of Holt, who's a talented misfit. And Hux was that ten times over. And what a pairing that would have been - Hux's skill and Holt's cunning.
