"I don't mind a battle, Scottish football is quite tough so I think I'm well prepared for it. It's going to be a battle and I'm up for it, I've come here to play and hopefully help out the side and get us out of this position. Celtic go into every game thinking we're going to win and nine times out of ten, we do. I want to keep that winning mentality because it's good to have and hopefully it could rub off down here."

On the possibility of making his debut for Norwich against Wolves, the 6'1" player added: "What better stage to make my debut on, I've come here for the big games and hopefully my clearance will go through so I can be involved in that. "

Asked whether he felt any extra pressure donning the Norwich number nine shirt, the New Zealander told First News he felt he had more attributes to offer than just being a frontman: "I don't want to be known just as an out-and-out target man, I think I've got more to offer, and I don't mind the rough stuff.

"It's been a little while since I've had a competitive game, I've been running for a good month now so hopefully I'm in good shape. There's a bit more pressure being the number nine but that's what I'm here for, to do well and to show everyone I can play."

As he gets set to embark on his time with Bryan Gunn's side, Killen added it had been frustrating not to have been given as many chances of first team football at Celtic as he would have liked. "You go to such a big club and you just want to go out and play.

"There's 53, 54,000 there each week and that's what you work for during the week to go and play, and when you don't it's frustrating. I hope I still have a future there and the reason why I've come here is to get games under my belt and do well for Norwich. Hopefully I can go back there and do well there too."
