Carroll v Holt

Other than being a bigger unit and his age, what attributes does Carroll have over holt to warrant his England call up?

For me, holt has a better touch and is a better finisher, he's also better at playing others in. Carroll got more pace? He probably wins more headers.

This is a debate I was having with someone last night.
