Aston Villa have had a bid accepted

for Canary Fairy and Old Puppet Bastard.

New Villa manager Alan Curbishley said "what stupid c**t brought me in - you'd have thought people would have learnt by now. Still, I've got plenty of old rope and they've got plenty of money. It's a partnership made in heaven".

Fairy and Bastard are expected to form the midfield engine of the new-look Villa side, with Daryl Sutch taking a lone striker role and Dean Coney coming out of retirement to sell hot dogs.
