Holt wants to move back nearer to Carlisle or wants a new challenge? Everyone is assuming it's about money but from McNally's tweets it might not be about that at all. I'm sure if Holt and his agent knew negotiations were around the corner and they'd probably get better terms then they'd just wait. Surely!?

Maybe Holt just genuinely believes if he scores another 15 goals next season for someone like Sunderland / Stoke he'll get his boyhood dream of playing for England - albeit not in a major Championship.
