though there's probably a fair chance he wont go anywhere and will get a new deal, but it won't be quite the same now
if he goes, we'd do very well to use whatever we got for him and find a replacement of similar quality, let alone get another player in alongside that. we've been saying the last few weeks how he deserves an england spot ahead of the likes of carroll, crouch, welbeck, sturridge etc. those are all pretty pricey players. so by that logic, ?4m or so wouldnt cover half of his worth (to us)
not the end of the world though true. be interested to hear if he explains it a bit.
