So no pressure to sell him this summer, McNally has the leverage in this scenario.
Holt will be 33 when his contract runs out, he shouldn't get too carried away with this contract buisness, even NCFC might not want him in two years time, the club might look back at this situation in 2014 when deciding whether to offer him a new contract.
Can anybody see Holty being up to much at 33? Bare in mind it's took him years to get into a reasonable condition. I think this is a rare case of the power being with club.
