Is it safe to come back on here yet?

Seriously.

Our players have bent over backwards this season and performed to the best of their ability, bar one or two games, to ensure that we are safe for another year, long before the end of the season. If that season ends with a few tired bodies, silly mistakes and lacklustre efforts from one or two players, then so be it. What a fantastic position to be in, where we can have our problems exposed on the pitch without fear of going down! This doesn't ruin what has been an excellent season, it gives me excitement for next season and what we can build on.

And in all seriousness, the most frustrating about yesterday was that up until their first goal, we'd not been playing badly at all. At least not as far as I can see. And as much as I hate to see Suarez score a hat-trick, his first goal was excellent. It wasn't a fluke, he meant that. Great goal.

So anyway, a decent central defensive pairing that doesn't need rotating next season will be great.
