What's Lambert's contract situation?

it's a one-year rolling deal isn't it? So he's always got a year left on his contract?

Wouldn't cost Villa that much to get him then?

Beginning to think if they stay up, then offer him the job, he'll be off. He may well be looking at the way we've tailed off and be thinking this summer is his best chance of a step up.

If we struggle badly next season, then big(ger) clubs may wonder if he's a George Burley, Mick McCarthy, Neil Warnock type.

Just looking at it from Lambert's point of view...
